If you are a fan of The Walking Dead, 28 Days Later… or any of the Romero zombie films…do not watch Maggie. More specifically, if you like any of the listed titles for their zombie related goodness, this is not the film for you. Maggie is not a zombie film, and truthfully come the end of the film I couldn’t help but find it contrived that it had been written into the zombie sub genre at all. It is a drama, focused on the relationship between a young girl with a terminal illness, and how her father and stepmother react to these final precious days they have with her. And it’s good, but not great.
